Mike Arturi

Mike has played with nationally acclaimed artists including Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Dick Clark’s touring Rock and Roll Revival show, The Coasters, The Marvellets, Del Shannon, Freddie Cannon, The Drifters, Big Twist and The Mellow Fellows, The Boxtops, Head East, Gary Lewis and The Playboys and Badfinger. Currently, Mike has been a long-standing member of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band The Lovin’ Spoonful since 1996.

Craig Else
Lead Guitar

Craig Else has recorded and toured with a diverse range of artists like Petit Cheval, The Bay City Rollers, D.H. Peligro (Dead Kennedys), Nine Inch Nails, Cherie Currie (Runaways), Leif Garrett, Janet Jackson, Taylor Dayne, Jesse McCartney, Pure Sugar, Billy Sheehan, Jeannie Ortega, Tribe After Tribe and many others.

His guitar can be heard on many soundtracks and trailers such as Iron Man 3, Captain America, Thor, The Men Who Stare at Goats, and on ads for BMW, Ford, Ferrari, Porsche, Greyhound, Shell, Coke, Sprite, KFC, and many others.

Dino Herrmann

Dino Herrmann started playing the piano in his native Stuttgart in Germany at age five. From age fifteen he was the keyboard player in several bands ranging from blues, pop and rock. In Los Angeles Dino has been a member of the Ethnic music group Mystique Journey. Other jazz bands brought him to perform at the Santa Barbara Jazz Festival.

He has composed many commercials and soundtracks for the US, Switzerland, Italy and Germany, television and feature movies for the US. Brazil and Germany. He also continues to work on music records where he has been working with, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Brandy, Destiny’s Child, Shakira, Rod Stewart, Brian McKnight, Shawn Stockman (Boyz II Men), Def Leppard, Faith Hill and LeeAnn Rimes.

Nick Kennedy
Bass Guitar

Nick was born in Germany, and moved to the Tacoma area when he was 2. Nick has played guitar for fifteen years, and has been an atheist for 12. He is a frequent guest on Ask An Atheist, and can eat $40 worth of salmon nigiri without batting an eye. Nick put the bomp in the bomp ba-bomp ba-bomp.

Jim Underdown

In his pre-CFI life, Jim was (among other occupations) a performer. Before touring Midwest comedy clubs as the Poet Laureate of Calumet City, IL, Jim sang in two bar bands in Chicago – Decades, and The Jam Knights, as well as with The Mutti’s und Vattis, an a cappella group that covered Mamas and Papas songs - in German. The Heathens began in 2000 and released their first originals, Infallible and L.Ron Hubbard this year.
