Do you agree that others doubt your existence?

You guys wouldn’t know a good thing if it kissed you on the cheek.
There is a rule about messing with the mods. It’s kind of like “reasonable suspicion” or “resisting arrest”, completely up to the mod to determine it. So, I really don’t like using it. But I’ve been known to make exceptions.
To know God is to not know what it is.
How do you want to start?
But you never start. The closest you’ve come to starting is sarcasm. If you want a conversation guided by reason, then simply be reasonable.

I’m starting to think we are dealing with a genuinely deranged person here. –CC
There’s no rule against you thinking that, as long as you don’t start harassing him or threatening him. I’m just going to pretend I’m not seeing the lol and poser volley.
The massive postings are kind of strange. He said he is using this forum as a way to timestamp h…[Read more]
What you keep ignoring is that God is all in your mind and perceptions sree – whereas Physical Reality simply IS. –cc
I remember seeing someone saying that reality, scientifically verifiable reality, is everything that’s there even if you don’t believe in it. I thought that was a great way to communicate what “reality” means. Then I remember…[Read more]
My wife is sewing masks Mriana. A doctor friend of ours recommended using the material from those tough reusable shopping bags. It’s called “unwoven fiber”, almost like tyvek.

I’m not sure what the story is trying to imply but looking at similar stuff on his page seems to suggest Maya or illusion is a recurring theme with Materialism being his bone of contention (in the altruism link).
So. You’re not sure, but this guy said something, and he said it a couple times. Do I understand you correctly?
There would be a big tax increase for the shrinking middle class, but the bigger issue is the fact that many productive Americans don’t feel a responsibility to pay for someone else’s medical care.
It’s amazing that people say this. Do you not understand how insurance works? Even Fox and Friends says it, and they still have a show, they wer…[Read more]
Does it really matter to you what people call it, or would you prefer that you didn’t get healed without treatment? Would suffering through chemo and radiation reinforce your confidence in science?
Yes it matters what you call it because words have meaning. If someone says they prayed and a miracle happened, they are usually saying something ab…[Read more]

I just can’t seem to shake the sense that it’s…
It really doesn’t matter what comes after that. You’ve just substituted another thing into your tired old pattern. Buddhism, Nihilism, no-self, no purpose, no meaning, God is dead, now you’re on solipsism. It doesn’t matter how many times we agree the universe is mysterious, you take that to mea…[Read more]
You don’t feel that everybody is as entitled as mriana to be as concerned about getting infected and dying?
Quite trolling Sree. I responded to what you said, now you are changing it. Engage in conversation or go find another forum.
I’m sure I mentioned this last time. The guy saying that is the one who killed the kid. “You can’t handle the truth” is what murdering liars say to try to get off. They think they are right. They aren’t.
If we don’t get our planting done, the season to do so will soon be over and there won’t be anything to harvest.
Gee, do you think anyone else has figured out that farmers are essential workers?

Not that there’s anything wrong with bellybutton gazing, but getting lost in it and forgetting about the reality unfolding around you, that is bad for the individual and the society they are a part of.
Good summary CC. I didn’t expect anything from Xain, but I thought I’d ask. I’m not sure he even noticed the point where the blog switches from a…[Read more]

What did you get from that blog Snow?
I could have been more clear. There several posts in the thread. I didn’t feel like picking through them all. Happily, I posted that Jonathan Haidt video I’ve posted all over and she seems to have gotten something from it.
Looks like you are catching the bug as well, Lausten.
I’m showing her words as an example of someone who has little or no ability to determine what’s true, so when someone like Trump comes along and says “don’t believe what you see”, she believes him. She believes QAnon. When I said “she’s woke”, I meant she believes she is more aware than the…[Read more]

You should check this out snow city
I spent too much time in the last 24 hours researching a rumor about how children have been found in underground tunnels in New York. That’s why all the tents are up and the Navy ships are coming in. I’m too burnt out on it to give the details, and not sure I should post the links anyway. But if you hear about it and need to know where it comes…[Read more]
