  • CC, just search how many atomic bombs Climate Change is causing per day.

It only requires 4 grade math. CO2 lasts for 1,000 year before being completely gone. Use two hundred years and most of the CO2 will still be in the atmosphere.

Scientists estimate that, each day, our added emissions trap the heat equivalent of four hundred thousand…[Read more]

  • TimB, Mike, You must be the only “progressive” who thinks we should be pumping more CO2 into the atmosphere.

    Around here anyway.

For the sun, I go to Dr. Moon. He seems to understand the sun. Dr. Moon in July was in a House Science, Space, and Technology Committee hearing on climate change, under questioning by Congressman Mo Brooks (AL-05), fou…[Read more]

  • – your main message is that the scientists and their work is politicized and can’t be trust so we should listen to the rumination of total amateurs –

You got that wrong. The scientists that have been correct all along are our top scientists from the 1980’s. We are coming full circle and back to their viewpoints. Guess who the industry and some ma…[Read more]

  • CC, I already know what you think of me and the science. What I don’t know is what you think of the questions I ask. You never answer. You would rather attack me than deal with the science.

  • No, my human side tells me that.

I read that and though you should have said “my political human side”. Then I read further, and you say, “it’s all political for you”.

You know it is hard being one of the few progressives on this site. The far-left political movement has hijack the term progressive and turned it into a bad word.

  • It’s been documented over and over again, that humans are causing Climate Change …

If Climate Change is viewed as anthropogenic emissions. Then no documentation is needed. That has been agreed upon for decades. What you bring up is a very important point. That the world and especially the scientists have not set the standard meanings of words bei…[Read more]

  • Mriana, Here’s an interesting read:

“humans emit about 80 times more CO2 a year than every volcano on Earth combined.” Good point.

Let’s be honest, this article is meant to scare people into thinking that CO2 will kill like the Asteroid did by putting large amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere. Is that not correct?

All this CO2 in the air cause t…[Read more]

  • And your the one accusing us of being Nazi.  MAGA man!

If I used a picture of a pack of dogs. Would I have been accusing you of being a dog? That is what your scientific mind tells you?

  • I am not writing a book. In blogs, the use of informal styles is accepted. You will find that I do make a lot of grammar mistakes. The question is why did the CFI grammar checker not pick that up?

AAMOF SMHID that grammar SB BD must have been FAAK.

  • Thanks CC. I miss that one and made a mistake. What happened was I opened a C to F converter on the web because I still live in the Fahrenheit world. I typed 6 in and got 42.8. I just went back and rechecked the and got 42.8 again. Upon further checking it turns out the converter adds 32 to the number so the real number should be 12.8. I did not…[Read more]

  • We don’t “think differently”, we have considered as much data as we can, although each of us is different to some degree in that, and used our powers of reason, and yes, we were brought up in an environment that valued the modern knowledge and respected science, but we also know how to question authority and make sure they are not hiding anyth…[Read more]

  • 3point, some scientists have claimed, and nobody has challenged them that it is possible because of the higher CO2 in the atmosphere that we may have extended the time before we head into the cold part of the cycle by 1K to 3K years. That is a good thing.

Now you say that we don’t agree that for every degree warmer the beetles can expand. And t…[Read more]

  • Yea, it makes me feel like I am not invited to your click because you all think the same and I think…[Read more]

  • 3point. I agree with what you are saying. The point I am trying to get across is that it would be better to stay in the Intermediate Cycle forever and not go into the Ice Age.

I miss my fly fishing trips to Red Fish Lake in Idaho. The pine beetles totally devastated the area. Along with the trout getting the swirling disease. I decided to let the…[Read more]

  • Mriana, have you never followed Climate Change before. The Climate Reality site is a political site.

It starts off with the 97% of climate scientists agree that humans are the cause of Climate Change.

Do you have any idea what that means?

Climate Change is the man-made affects on weather. Therefore, humans are responsible for 100% of Climate…[Read more]

  • CC – the earth’s temperature between 25,000 and 100,000 years ago was about 6 oC.

Milankovitch Cycles and the Climate of the Quaternary

  • Link one – President Reagan passed a mandate to respond to human-induced and natural processes of global change by creating a department to coordinate all the government agencies. The government agency failed and just made matters worse.

Obama tried to fix the problem of the public not being able to separate Mother Nature from man-made changes t…[Read more]

  • Mriana, you talk about extreme weather. Maybe it is extreme weather to you when coming out of the intermediate part of a 100,000-year Climate Cycle. The intermediate part of the cycle is a period only lasting about 12,000 years. It is the calmest and most stable weather of the whole Climate Cycle. It is because of the stable weather that mankind…[Read more]

  • Mriana, Mankind does better in warm weather. That is a fact. Civilizations don’t advance in cold weather and that is a fact. Just check out the mini-Ice Age in Europe. In the Mid-West we got one hay crop per year. Every now and then we had a good year and got two crops. That was nice. In California here they are getting seven crops per year. All d…[Read more]

  • Mriana, the predictions are not real predictions. The earth is in the warming cycle right now. I can make a prediction that the earth is going to warm. Big deal. Unless I can tell you how much the anthropogenic affect will be, it is of no value.

    What do the experts say?
