Covid19 is more dangerous  than flu for people 60+ with other chronic health problems.

Chronic health problems come with a lifetime of suicidal body-abuse eating crap. And along comes a bug that puts a stop to it. Why are the progressive lefties so heated up about righties poisoning the planet and not happy with a germ that stops poisoning the body?

I get so sick and tired of people saying it is no more deadly than the flu when it’s a complete lie. A lie they seem to believe and it could get them or others killed. It’s actually more deadly than the flu.

    PSA – covid symptoms

COVID-19 affects different people in different ways. Infected people have had a wide range of symptoms reported – from mild symptoms to severe illness.

Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
    Fever or chills
    Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    Fatigue
    Muscle or body aches
    Headache
New loss of taste or smell
    Sore throat
    Congestion or runny nose
    Nausea or vomiting
    Diarrhea

Look for emergency warning signs for COVID-19. If someone is showing any of these signs, seek emergency medical care immediately:
    Trouble breathing
Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
    New confusion
Inability to wake or stay awake
    Bluish lips or face

Call your medical provider for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning to you.

    From: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/symptoms-causes/syc-20479963

The severity of COVID-19 symptoms can range from very mild to severe. Some people may have only a few symptoms, and some people may have no symptoms at all. Some people may experience worsened symptoms, such as worsened shortness of breath and pneumonia, about a week after symptoms start.

People who are older have a higher risk of serious illness from COVID-19, and the risk increases with age. People who have existing chronic medical conditions also may have a higher risk of serious illness. Chronic medical conditions that increase the risk of serious illness from COVID-19 include:

Serious heart diseases, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease or cardiomyopathy
    Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
    Type 2 diabetes
    Severe obesity
    Chronic kidney disease
    Sickle cell disease
Weakened immune system from solid organ transplants

Other conditions may increase the risk of serious illness, such as:

    Asthma
    Liver disease
Chronic lung diseases such as cystic fibrosis
    Brain and nervous system conditions
Weakened immune system from bone marrow transplant, HIV or some medications
    Type 1 diabetes
    High blood pressure
This list is not all inclusive. Other underlying medical conditions may increase your risk of serious illness from COVID-19.

This is what our new reality looks like.  Belligerant Willful Ignorance coupled with an absolutist superior attitude is what created this and is making it as ugly as possible.  Continued rejection of honestly facing mistakes and learning constructive lessons will only lead to yet more carnage, inviting further unthinkable horrors into our everyday.  What fools we are.

All it takes is a little good faith effort to learn about the full spectrum of facts.

Empathy comes in handy too but I imagine our little Richie Rich doesn’t have much of that.  Empathy that is.

Basically, humans are stupid and don’t want to do as we need to do to survive and avoid COVID-19 pandemic.

How stupid humans are in the vaunted USA is particularly perplexing to me.

We still have scientists who are trying to make the now long incontrovertible truth that COVID-19 transmits effectively by aerosolized viral particles which suspend in the air when people breath out, or speak, or shout, or sing, or blow, or etc.

The doctor who treated the 1st patient in South Korea (that was the same day that we in the USA knew of our 1st COVID-19 patient) found by the eighth day of treating her, that COVID-19 was transmitted respiratorally and that it could be and was transferred by asymptomatic carriers.

That was months ago.  But at that moment, it should have been told to the world, that everyone should access the best mask they could get, and wear it when around others.

Because, it is OBVIOUS, thru simple logical thinking, that if Asymptomatic carriers pass it on, then it is often done thru exhalations of any kind by carriers. And further data, since, has shown that the tiny virus particles floating in the air, tends to build up in enclosed places, and thus to build up viral loads, over a period of minutes or more, that can be an infectious dose, in such settings.

Clear thinking “experts” have known this unequivocally for months now. Yet it is still “NEWS” that scientists are trying to get people in the USA and even with WHO to admit this.

It is like a microcosm-of-time-analogy to the Climate Change debate which has continued to rail over decades AFTER the science has confirmed that it is real.  But now it is denial of the need to wear masks, instead of denial that there are too many greenhouse gases going in to the atmosphere.

One more time for the dense:

COVID-19 can be and is passed by asymptomatic carriers.  THEY DON’T HAVE SYMPTOMS. They are not coughing or sneezing.  They are not covertly going about spitting on their hands and rubbing the infection that they don’t know they have on objects that thus allows for a way of transmission.

So how are they passing it on?  ANSWER: By exhaling, in any manner that allows the viral particles to build up and be breathed in by someone near by.

The simple logic, has been and still is, incontrovertible. Hence, wear masks when around others, especially in crowded and enclosed places.

There is no legitimate controversy about this. Wherever COVID is in the world, people should be wearing the best masks, they can come up with, when around other people.

WHO and the CDC were wrong by not being straight up honest with people from the get go, instead of trying to manipulate people’s behavior with the deception that masks were not necessarily needed by all.

And that is why we must wear masks.

It’s too late for takes like that one. We have a good idea of how deadly this is.
