Much of our contemporary UFO lore began with conspiracy theories about an alien spacecraft crashing in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. But they certainly didn’t end there.

Fox New Mexico in Albuquerque (KQRE-TV) aired a package featuring CFI’s Benjamin Radford, telling the tale of the UFO sensation that followed the more famous Roswell incident, “the Aztec UFO,” in which 16 alien bodies were said to be found at a new crash site and recovered by the U.S. military in 1948.
