Evolution is for Everyone! Tuesday on CFI Insider, Bertha Vazquez Talks TIES

September 22, 2020

Tuesday, September 29 at 7pm, on the next CFI Insider live online event, get to know the driving force behind the Teacher Institute for Evolutionary Science, Bertha Vasquez.

TIES is a jewel in the crown of CFI and the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason & Science, giving teachers the tools and skills they need to share the wonders of evolution with their students. Having held free workshops for science teachers in all fifty states, TIES has deftly shifted to providing a wealth of online webinars, guided lessons, and other free resources for the current stay-at-home era.

Bertha Vasquez is the woman behind it all, an award-winning middle school science teacher who has enlightened and inspired educators and students across the country. In conversation with CFI’s Melissa Myers, Bertha will reveal what she’s learned about effectively communicating evolution concepts to teachers and students, how TIES built the playbook for a successful science-based curriculum, and how the impact of evolution education is felt well beyond the classroom.

Free registration is required to watch this live Zoom event, so sign up right now!
