Bertha Vazquez of TIES Interviewed on 502 Conversations

November 29, 2018

The Teacher Institute for Evolutionary Science (TIES) is a program of the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason & Science that gives middle school teachers the tools they need to effectively teach evolution and answer its critics.

As 2018 comes to a close, 121 TIES workshops have now been held in forty-three states, helping thousands of teachers share the wonders of science with their students. One final 2018 workshop will be held at the California Science Education Conference in Pasadena, presented by Jennifer Panczyszyn. Workshops for 2019 have already been scheduled in South Dakota and Indiana.

TIES director Bertha Vazquez recently sat down for a detailed interview about the program with Brian Kerby on the YouTube series 502 Conversations, and you can watch the whole thing below.
