Born in Montreal, Canada, Brahm H. Segal, MD completed his undergraduate education at McGill University followed by medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a residency in Internal Medicine at Tufts New England Medical Center and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Segal is a physician-scientist engaged in patient care, education, and research. His research interests are in innate immune responses to infection and cancer. He is Professor of Medicine at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo, and Chief of Infectious Diseases and Member in the Department of Immunology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
